PURPOSE
The purpose of the Almighty Mentoring: Building Faith, Fitness, and Futures program is to empower individuals through faith-based guidance, fitness education, and career mentorship, fostering holistic development in participants. Our goals are to strengthen spiritual foundations, promote physical wellness, and provide career guidance, creating well-rounded and prepared individuals for life’s challenges.
OBJECTIVES
FAITH: To build up faith by cultivating strong moral and ethical foundations through spiritual mentorship.
FITNESS: Improve physical health and encourage a lifestyle of wellness through fitness routines and nutrition advice.
FUTURES: Equip participants with skills and resources for career development, education, and personal growth.
WHAT WE DO
- Weekly Sessions:
- Faith: Weekly group discussions, spiritual teachings, and individual reflections.
- Fitness: Guided fitness classes, nutrition workshops, and physical activity challenges.
- Futures: Career planning workshops, resume building, mock interviews, and goal-setting exercises.
- One-on-One Mentoring: Bi-weekly individual sessions to track personal growth and address specific challenges.
- Workshops and Events: Monthly events with guest speakers, group outings, or volunteer activities to build community.
Program Activities
- Faith Development: Bible study groups, motivational talks, church attending and faith-based goal setting.
- Fitness Activities: Workouts, group sports, fitness challenges, grocery shopping demos and healthy cooking classes.
- Career and Life Skills: Skill-building sessions on public speaking, financial literacy, and networking.
